For me a tutor of resilience is someone who reminds people how resilient they are.  In my professional life I have trained my intuition to be fully prepared for the trust that has been given to me by others though their emotions, experiences and amazing stories.   We are all a ‘work in progress’ .

Psychologist, tutor of resilience, mother, writer, researcher. 25 years experience in psychology and international living. Qualified to work in both English and Spanish.

Style

I integrate instinct and empathy with an enquiring mind and I won’t throw lots of traditional psychology at you as resilience allows you to explore yourself through music, cinema, art and literature. Finding your way to really tell the stories that are important to you is often the key. Most of us are just looking for a simple and harmonious life but we all have a different way of getting there.

Resilience

I had spent many years working in the field of positive psychology in research, coaching and therapy and it was here in Barcelona that I discovered the world of resilience and was lucky enough to attend the first Post graduate course in the Promotion of Resilience at the University of Barcelona. This allowed me to meet and learn from leading figures in Resilience work in Europe and Latin America and the most generous teachers.

International

I have lived in many countries and met a lot of diverse and truly inspiring people in different cultures and languages. Living an international life can feel like an amazing adventure but also comes with its challenges and I have worked with many individuals and families over the years helping them to find their feet again.

Personal commitment

For me a tutor of resilience is someone who reminds people how resilient they are. In my professional life I have trained my intuition to be fully prepared for the trust that has been given to me by others though their emotions, experiences and amazing stories. We are all a ‘work in progress’ .
